A Note from Mary S. de Wit, Information Designer:
With a well-filled and updated toolbox of graphic design, web design, illustration, photography, editing, production and publishing skills, I developed my career based on my fascination for what others think and what they choose to do with their lives. The astounding variety of businesses and occupations, with the working details of how these are conducted, presents puzzles and challenges to analyze, classify, differentiate. I enjoy creating ordered presentations from seemingly disparate ingredients.
Information Design often requires additional skills such as videography, sound design, video editing and production, and database structure and interface. I rely on experienced and trusted satellite partners for specialized functions. This gives my clients the advantage of large agency assets without losing the close contact advantage of a design boutique.
Most of my energy goes into the development of client work and I neglect my own — if you're one of my clients, you probably like that priority. I intend to show past and current work in logo design, illustration, brochures, displays, and other creative ventures as soon as possible. A page of my logo designs, meanwhile, may be accessed here.
